Week-Night Dinner Guide
This week-night list simply gives me a GUIDE to go by... I have to adjust the meals regularly-- according to which Roman day of the week the Sabbath falls on each month (my family observes the Sabbath according to the moon cycle each month). This list serves as a basic guideline for me to work around, and has become quite helpful! :D
Sunday:
Varies
This night varies, depending on our plans for the day. We can eat leftovers, eat-out, or I can experiment with a "new meal" on this night. Sometimes it gives me a chance to throw something else in that maybe we haven't had in awhile, like a "Mexican Meal" or something. This night is a "free for all" night :)

Monday:
Meatloaf-Casserole-Beans
Self explainatory...I either bake meatloaf, some type of caserole, or make beans on this night.
*This proposes a challenge for me during the hot summer months when I try not to use my oven!!

Tuesday:
Italian Meal
Whether I use beef or chicken, I like to make some type of Italian or Pasta meal with a salad and garlic cheese bread (loaf, toast, or breadsticks).

Wednesday:
Soup/Chili
*Soup seems like such a "Fall/Winter" food to me, that I usually try to come up with different options on this night during the summer. (I definitely don't eat chili in the spring and summer...I'm one of those "seasonal" chili eaters ;)

Thursday:
"Substitute" Pork Meal
We don't eat pork...so on this night we substitute "turkey chops" for pork chops. They are actually VERY similar in texture and taste, especially if you flour-fry them or add some type of herbs/seasonings to them and bake them. They are 'turkey cutlets' in the Turkey Fresh Meat section in the grocery.

Friday:
*Fun* Meal
Friday night is our "Family Fun" night-- we try to make it simple and fun! :D We choose Hamburgers, Pizza, Snack Wraps, etc. for the meal and top it off with ice cream (summer) or brownies (winter) --or some other simple dessert (*popcorn* is always a favorite!!).

Saturday:
Crockpot Meal
I simply put something in the crockpot in the morning and turn it on :) By the evening, we have a good hot meal...with very little effort.
